Bermuda

Summary

Some of my favorite spots in Bermuda have to include the beaches. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are found here, at the top of the list are Horseshoe Bay, Warwick Long Bay, Jobson’s Cove and Tobacco Bay. Somethings not to miss are the Crystal Caves, Fort St Catherine, Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse and the Royal Dockyard. I have been to Bermuda nine times, I have done something different each time. It is one of my favorite places to visit! -Lisa Burcher

If history is a better fit for you, then you should probably add the dockyard to your list of places to visit. All within this stone built fortress remains the once was British royal navy stronghold. One can expect to learn all about the history of this naval fleet.

Where the first settlers of Bermuda began, the town of St. George is a must add to the Bermuda itinerary. Nearly twenty years ago this town was named a world heritage site by UNESCO making it a destination similar to the 7 wonders of the world. While it may not be made up of giant rocks built thousands of years ago you can expect a quaint town full of history. While visiting be sure to visit Hamilton Parish located about 10 miles from St. George. Here you will find the Bermuda aquarium that includes a museum, zoo and the Crystal Caves.
