Who Doesn't Want To Be Treated Like Gold

nd You Climb aboard the bi-level coach and find yourself in the lap of luxury. Your reclining seat is sumptuous, the incredible glass dome is truly panoramic, and the Hosts are smiling with an experienced ease that makes you feel instantly at home. As the train passes through the rapidly changing landscape, you bite into a fresh mouth-watering scone and raise your glass-toasting the beginning of a breathtaking journey.

Before long, you head down to the lower-level dining room for a hot breakfast that leaves you feeling the warm glow of satisfaction. Buzzing with excitement, you sit back with your new friends and enjoy the view. Then, just when you thought you couldn't get any closer to nature, you visit the exclusive viewing platform and step into the great outdoors. The fresh air washes over you and you feel an incredible sense of peace and contentment.

When lunchtime arrives, you head back down to the dining area, where Executive Chefs have designed an a la carte menu using seasonal ingredients. You chat to fellow travellers from all over the world as you sample an exquisite three-course meal. When you return to your seat, your Host recounts historic tales of the Rocky Mountains and you enjoy gourmet snacks. You gaze out at passing wildlife as the train ascends to the breathtaking heights of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. When the day slows and the sun goes down, you are transported to your hotel to rest in comfort, and emerge fresh and ready for tomorrow's wonders.

We will depart from Honesdale to Newark Airport where we will take an Air Canada direct nonstop flight to Vancouver. The flight will depart from Newark at 6:20pm arriving into Vancouver at 9:09pm. We will then be transferred to our hotel.

Sightseeing Tour: North Shore 

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver's spectacular North Shore with breathtaking views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains. Highlights include the 450 feet Capilano Suspension Bridge and the Grouse Mountain Skyride.

Capilano Suspension Bridge 

Take a walk across the 450 ft long and 230 ft high bridge perched above the Capilano Canyon then stroll along Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges through the evergreens taking you above the forest floor for a squirrel's eye view!

Vancouver to Kamloops

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Vancouver Station at 7:30am. Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior.

On today's journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, 

from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing water of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Breakfast & lunch are included onboard.

Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops between 6:00pm and 7:30pm. Spend the evening exploring the city of kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room. 

Upon check-in for the train departure you will receive a boarding pass which will indicate your
Kamloops hotel accommodation.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 6:25am, to continue your journey east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Travel the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. 

Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.

Upon arrival at Lake Louise, all guests will be transferred to The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Hotel. 

Surrounded by soaring mountain peaks, the majestic Victoria Glacier and a glistening emerald lake, the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel is located in Alberta's Banff National Park.
