This means you’re an on the go traveler. You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of time (2-3 hours) isn’t a big deal. A moderately paced two and a half hour walking tour, covering several miles, hills, and uneven surfaces, is no problem for you. Walking four miles over the course of a day is very doable, as is climbing into and out of various modes of transportation . You can climb three flights of stairs easily and handle altitudes between 6,000 and 9,000 feet. Expect some longer days with early mornings or late nights balanced with free time to recharge or set out on your own adventure. This level is not a fit for travelers who require mobility assistance devices.

Day 2: November 29, 2025
Reykjavík, Iceland
Welcome to Reykjavík, Iceland’s vibrant capital. After settling into your hotel and enjoying breakfast, head out for a guided walking tour of old town Reykjavík, where you’ll visit the harbor, city hall, Parliament building, and a historic cathedral from 1796. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for dinner at a local restaurant, sampling traditional Icelandic dishes, followed by an exciting northern lights cruise across Faxaflói Bay, where you’ll search for the stunning aurora borealis. Day 3: November 30, 2025
Reykjavík - Golden Circle - Vik
This morning, set out on the Golden Circle, exploring some of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders, including the Geysir thermal area and the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. Visit Thingvellir National Park, where you can stand at the meeting point of two tectonic plates on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. In the afternoon, stop at the Lava Exhibition Center to learn about Iceland’s volcanic history, then continue to Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall where you can walk behind the cascading water for a unique view. End the day in Vík, where you’ll have another chance to search for the northern lights in Iceland’s peaceful countryside. Day 4: December 1, 2025
Vík - Reynisfjara - Vík
Start your day with a visit to Reynisfjara, a striking black sand beach framed by towering basalt columns and home to countless seabirds. Take in the dramatic views from Dyrhólaey, a volcanic peninsula rising above the Atlantic. Then, explore the Skógar Museum, where you’ll see traditional turf homes and historic artifacts. Next, marvel at the power of Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most stunning waterfalls, before heading to Sólheimajökull, the country’s fourth-largest glacier. Vík - Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon - Vík
This morning, journey through Vatnajökull National Park to visit Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, where floating icebergs drift across the icy waters.
