Mesa Verde National Park Summary
Located in southwest Colorado, Mesa Verde National Park is known for the Ancestral Pueblo village that lies on the side of a cliff. Dating back to AD 600-1300 there are close to 600 cliff dwellings and almost 5,000 well preserved archaeological sites that are known of.
