Located in central Monaco, Monte-Carlo is home to the Circuit de Monaco where every year the Grand Prix race is held. Monte Carlo, Monaco is known as the playground of the rich and famous. The city location is on the French Rivera and the base of the Alps. I spent an enjoyable day with friends wandering the city, taking in the casino with all the fancy cars out front and eating at the Café de Paris out front. After, we took a cab ride which felt like we were running the actual Grand Prix we went to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. The Palace became more famous in the 1950’s with the arrival of Grace Kelly. It is a special place to visit! Monte-Carlo has a little bit of everything for everyone such as oceanographic museums and world class casinos. Rather take a tour of the entire city? Well you can check that off the list a verity of tours exists that will take you all over the city with rich descriptive information about all of Monte-Carlos famous land marks buildings.
