Rome is located in western Italy. One of the oldest cities in the entire world dating nearly 3000 years back to 753 BC. Rome is sprawling with ancient ruins such as the Colosseum, St. Peters Basilica, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. When in Rome you can always do as the Romans do, the local tale is that if you throw a coin into the Trevi fountain you will return home.
