Please carefully review the terms and conditions outlined below, which govern your participation in the tour and include important information regarding cancellations, refunds, and responsibilities. By booking this tour, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms, ensuring a clear understanding of the mutual expectations and obligations.

Payments & Inclusions
A deposit of $898 per person is due upon reservation. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Reservations made after the seat reduction date of February 14, 2026 are based upon availability. Final payment due by April 22, 2026. Deposits are refundable up until February 21, 2026.
Tour Terms & Conditions
Some walking tours may last more than 3 hours and cover 3 or more miles at a steady pace.
This tour is not appropriate for travelers that require an oxygen tank. If you require any special assistance while on tour, please make us aware at time of reservation so the necessary request form can be sent to your attention.
When traveling in Africa you will encounter full days of sightseeing, frequently in warm temperatures. Travelers should be able to handle altitudes of 9000 feet (2743 meters) or higher with little to no issue. This tour includes several early morning game drives with departures at 6:00 a.m. Personal audio devices (headsets) are not included on this tour. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed and vary depending on seasons.
**Farewell dinner location is weather dependent and will be moved indoors as needed.
The preferred currency for payments and tips in Zimbabwe is the US Dollar. Foreign credit cards are accepted at hotels, some shops and restaurants. We advise our travelers to carry small denominations as change is not always available. Single accommodations are extremely limited. Single rate subject to change based on availability. Triple accommodations are not available. To complete your tour, we include round-trip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing our airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that all transfers will leave at pre-scheduled times. Once you arrive at Johannesburg airport, you will be met by a local host that will transfer you to your hotel. This host will also accompany you during the transfer from the hotel back to the Johannesburg airport on the following day. You will meet your Tour Manager at the Victoria Falls airport before traveling to Botswana.
For travelers transiting via Europe, an additional overnight flight will be required. Day rooms or overnight stays can be arranged for a cost upon request.
For air-inclusive reservations, the name provided at time of booking must match your government-issued ID that will be used during travel. Name changes are subject to penalties. Please be advised, many airlines do not provide advance seat assignments until check-in at the airport. Advance seating will be subject to the airline's terms and conditions.
Due to tour scheduling, return flights should not be scheduled prior to 7:00 p.m. Internal flights are required in order to participate on this tour and are included in the final price, quoted at time of booking. Park fees starting from approximately $155 USD per person (subject to change without advance notice), quoted at time of booking, are payable at time of final payment.
Prepaid tipping is not available on our tours therefore payment of customary end-of-trip gratuities for your Tour Manager, driver, local guides, hotel housekeepers, and cruise ship waitstaff should be handled individually when applicable during the course of your tour. Economy air rate and schedule are applicable for groups of 10 or more traveling on the same flights and dates.
Travel Requirements:
Passports and visas are required for this tour at your expense. Certain countries require a minimum of 6 months passport validity from date of return home. You are strongly urged to contact the appropriate consulate for details. Visit www.travel.state.gov for the U.S. State Department for the latest details about passports and visa requirements.
IMPORTANT:
We recommend that our travelers take a photocopy of their passport and applicable visas. It should be packed separately from your actual passport and visa. We also recommend leaving a copy at home with your emergency contact.
*A valid multiple entry visa is required for Zimbabwe. A double entry visa cost is approximately $45 USD for U.S., Australian, and New Zealand citizens. Canadian citizens are required to purchase two single entry visas at a cost of $75 USD for each visa (total of $150 USD). It is recommended to purchase your visa upon arrival. Payments at Ports of Entry for visa are cash only and can be done in USD. Rates are approximate and can be changed at any time based on governing authority.
Important Passport Information: You must have at least 4 blank pages remaining in your passport to allow for the entry stamps issued for South Africa and Botswana as well as the visa for Zimbabwe. The 2 pages for South Africa MUST be facing each other. Failure to comply with this law may result in denied boarding of your international flight. If you have questions, please see your travel professional or call us.
Destination-specific information may change frequently and without prior notice. It is very important that you frequently check the entry/exit requirements for destination(s) visited on this tour, to ensure that you are aware of any changes that may be applicable to your travel plans, including right up to your departure. Collette will provide all necessary information, updates and supporting documents for your travel requirements, including visa and Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs), approximately 60-90 days prior to your departure.
If you are traveling with children under the age of 18, South Africa requires that those children must have proper documentation and/or consent when traveling into or out of the Republic. Please refer to
www.dha.gov.za/index.php/statements-speeches/621-advisory-new-requirements-for-children-travelling-through-south-african-ports-of-entry-effective-1-june-2015 for the most up-to-date details on requirements. Please check directly with the airline for the legal documentation that is required. It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to procure the proper
documentation to travel and many requirements vary by airline and destination. Each traveler is responsible for proper documentation and inoculations that may be required and/or recommended to participate on this tour. Please contact your local travel clinic or personal physician for specific details on the destinations you are traveling to and from. Please be aware that if your flight schedule is via Dubai or if you are stopping over in Dubai and are carrying narcotic drugs, controlled or semi-
controlled drugs, then you will be required to complete an electronic form prior to entering the country, to obtain approval to carry medication. A user's guide is available to explain the application and the supporting documents required.
Malaria pills are recommended when visiting Zimbabwe and Botswana. Consult your physician 2-3 weeks prior to departure.
Travel By Lisa Terms & Conditions
Assistance Clause: Travel by Lisa regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to tour members for walking, dining, and other personal needs. Persons requiring such assistance must be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and entirely responsible for providing that assistance.
Please inquire with Lisa at the time of booking about non-refundable fares, as they may be less expensive!
Responsibility: Travel by Lisa acts solely as an agent for its tour patrons in arranging transportation, lodging, sightseeing, and other services. As such, it cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, delay, injury, or accident resulting from the actions or defaults of the companies or individuals engaged in providing these services. Rates quoted are based on tariffs in effect at the time of printing and are subject to change by the time of final payment.
Travel by Lisa expressly reserves the right to withdraw any tour or make necessary changes, including accommodation or transportation substitutions, with or without notice. No carrier involved in the tours will incur any responsibility or liability beyond that of a common carrier. Travel by Lisa notifies that all tickets and coupons are issued by them, and all arrangements for transport, conveyance, or hotel accommodations are made by them acting as agents for the passengers, under the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may occur due to a defect in any vehicle or through the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or any hotel proprietor or employee, or otherwise in connection therewith. Carriers have no responsibility to any person participating in these tours beyond their liability as common carriers.
The airlines and/or steamship lines are not to be held as conveyances. The passage contracts issued by the airline and/or steamship lines, when issued, will constitute the sole contract between the carrier and the purchaser and/or passenger of these tours. Travel by Lisa cannot accept responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays, schedule changes, weather, strikes, quarantine, or other causes. All such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers. All rates and fares are based on current tariffs at the time of printing and are subject to adjustment in the event of changes at the time of final payment. Travel by Lisa reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour or to cancel or alter the tour.
